In the mid-1960s, our company, which took its first steps in the sector in a small house workshop in Huğlu, was founded by our honorary chairman ÖZDEM MERT, who had been manufacturing shotguns for nearly 30 years. In 1996, with Huğlu’s centuries-old knowledge and a contemporary understanding of quality control, he established Büyük Huğlu Av Malz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
Our company, which entered production with Semi Automatic Shotguns, has successively added Pump Action Shotguns, Single Barrel Shotguns, Over&Under Shotguns, Over&Under Trap Sporting Shotguns, and Side by Side Shotguns to its product range. Today, it has reached the peak with the production of Steel Frame Pistols in the Defense Industry. Operating in a total area of 15,000 square meters, including 9,000 square meters of closed area, our company continues its research and development activities in the field of Defense Industry, and exports Rifles and Machine Pistols to approximately 30 countries, primarily to the United States of America.
